The Nifty Nappy fitted one size diaper is very similar in size and design to the incredibily popular Rita’s Rump Pocket pattern with no pocket. Snaps make it easy to get a good, snug fit. My 13 month old is in a medium in some diapers, a large in others. This diaper fits her below the belly and still has a little room for growth (she is pretty tall for her age at almost 31 inches tall).
The Nifty Nappy one sized fitted diaper has a lay in doubler for absorbency. Without the doubler, this is a perfect fold down style one size for a newborn. The design means there will be very little bulk and the elastic should do a great job of holding in messes, even for a newborn.
The one size wool diaper cover is made from two layers of upcycled wool sweater. It has lots of stretch to it and offers great overnight protection due to the thickness of the wool. It is a little bulky when folded down, so it may be bulkier than some people like on a newborn. It works great over both prefolds and fitted diapers of many brands. I have tried it with Tykie fitteds, Baby Beehinds hemp fitteds and some really thick prefolds with doublers. It fit great every time.
